KNR Constructions joint ventures win multiple orders
A multi-domain infrastructure development organisation, KNR Constructions Limited (KNRCL), along with its joint ventures, announced that the company has received orders worth Rs 2,309.23 crore from Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana.
In an exchange filing made on May 17, the company informed that one of its joint ventures, KNR-HES has bagged an order worth Rs 695.50 crore towards Kaleshwaram project-link-parallel conveyor system-package no.3 for the excavation of gravity canal from 0.00 km to 15.825 km in order to carry 333 cumecs discharge of water from delivery cistern at Chinnagundavelly village to forebay at Thukkapur village (both in Medak district), including CM & CD works to be executed in two years from the agreement date.
Adding to this, the company also informed that its KNR-NAVAYUGA-NCC joint venture has also bagged an order worth Rs 1,613.69 crore towards Kaleshwaram project-parallel conveyor system-package no.4 for lifting 333 cumecs of water from forebay at Thukkapur village (Medak district) to Sri Komuravelli Mallanna Sagar. It includes the construction of forebay, an open pump house, pressure main and delivery cistern work to be executed in two years from the agreement date.
At 12.05 pm on Monday, the stock of KNR Constructions Ltd is trading at Rs 197.00, up by 1.26 per cent against its previous close of Rs 194.55. Its 52-week high is Rs 311.05 while, its 52-week low is Rs 171.65 on BSE.
