Shiv Nadar earned Rs 260 crore daily for a whole year

From being born in a small village of Tamil Nadu to being the third richest person in India, Shiv Nadar has been more than being just a businessman. Popularly known as the pioneer of the Indian IT industry, Shiv Nadar was awarded the third-highest civilian award of India “Padma Bhushan” in 2008 for his contribution towards the IT sector. According to IIFL Hurun rich list 2021, his net worth stood at Rs 2.36 lakh crore. According to Forbes, he ranks 71st on the billionaire's list as of 21st October 2021. 

Shiv Nadar has earned about Rs 260 crore every day for the last whole year, which is massive wealth creation. Apart from being a founder and chairman emeritus of HCL Technologies, the third-largest IT company of India, he has also been a philanthropist and founded Shiv Nadar Foundation, focused on developing the educational system of India. However, in July 2020, he stepped down as a chairman of HCL Technologies, passing over the responsibility upon Roshni Nadar, his only daughter. Roshni Nadar is ranked 54th on the Forbes world’s most powerful women list.
