KEC International surges 6 per cent on attaining new orders worth Rs 1,829 crore
The YTD order intake of the company has now surpassed Rs 7,000 crore.
Global infrastructure EPC major and RPG Group company, KEC International Limited announced that it secured orders worth Rs 1,829 crore across its various businesses.
The transmission and distribution (T&D) business of the company won orders worth Rs Rs 656 crore for T&D projects in Europe and the Americas. On the other hand, its railway business secured orders of Rs 144 crore in the technologically enabled/ emerging metro segments in India. Furthermore, orders worth Rs 935 crore and Rs 94 crore came from the civil and cables’ business, respectively.
Speaking on the developments, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International stated that the YTD order intake of the company has now surpassed Rs 7,000 crore, with robust growth of around 70 per cent vis-à-vis last year.
KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has a presence in the verticals of Power Transmission and Distribution, Railways, Civil, Urban Infrastructure, Solar, Smart Infrastructure, Oil & Gas Pipelines, and Cables.
At 12.09 pm on Friday, the stock of KEC International Limited was trading at Rs 492.30, up by 6.00 per cent or Rs 27.85 per share as against a 0.15 per cent gain in the benchmark index.
