KEC bags orders valued at Rs. 1,491 crore
KEC International has won orders across multiple business arms accumulating to Rs. 1,491 crore.
The Transmission & Distribution segment has secured turnkey order of Rs. 1,257 crore across India, SAARC, East Asia Pacific, Middle East and America. The company has been given orders from PGCIL for diversion works of multiple transmission lines. Supply and laying of 220 kV cables order from WBSETCL. Similar line projects are to be carried out by the company in Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand and Dubai. SAE Towers has received an EPC order of 500 kV transmission line in Brazil and other orders in the Americas.In Eastern India, the Railways segment of KEC has bagged orders worth Rs. 114 crore for Overhead Electrification works and associated civil works. The cables business segment has won Rs. 120 crore order for several types of cable works.
KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. The company has presence in the verticals of Power Transmission and Distribution, civil, railways, cables etc.
The stocks of KEC ended Wednesday’s trading day on a positive note gaining almost 3 per cent per share. The stocks opened at Rs. 303.80 and reached an intraday high of Rs. 316.20 and an intraday low of Rs 302.50. The shares at closed at Rs. 310.60 up by 2.80 per cent. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was at 36,484.33, up by 0.38 per cent.
