Kajaria Ceramics reports revenue growth of 8.6 per cent
Kajaria Ceramics Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 today.
Kajaria Ceramics' consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 729.9 crore, registering an increase of 8.6% YoY. This was primarily driven by volume growth in its major business segment of tiles. Its EBITDA for the quarter fell by 7.8% YoY to Rs. 113.5 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 277 bps. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 15.6%. This margin contraction was due to increased power and fuel expenses, along with rise in advertising expenses.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 50.63 crore, a decline of 11.1% YoY.
The stock on October 25, 2018, closed at Rs. 361.25, which was higher by 7.59 per cent from its last close on the BSE.
