JMC Projects wins orders worth Rs 1,262 crore across building & water segments
JMC Projects India Limited has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,262 crore of which, orders of Rs 431 crore were received in March 2021 while orders worth Rs 831 crore were received in April 2021 till date.
The scope of the orders includes building projects in India of Rs 1,059 crore as well as water project in Maldives of Rs 203 crore.
In March, the company had signed an agreement with Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited (FDC), a state-owned company of the Government of the Republic of the Maldives, for the design, finance & construction of 2,000 social housing units in Hulhumale Island of Maldives.
JMC’s total order wins for 2020‐21 were around Rs 7,900 crore. Of this order inflow, approximately 58 per cent came from the building & factories (B&F) segment while around 39 per cent came from the infrastructure segment. Also, its order book stood at Rs 14,203 crore as of December 31, 2020.
JMC Projects Ltd is a subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited engaged in constructing highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, townships, high-rise buildings, hospitals, industrial units, power plants among others.
On Monday, the stock of JMC Projects had gap-up opening by 6.3 per cent at Rs 88.95 from its previous close of Rs 83.65.
