JMC Projects bags new order, order book at Rs. 5,000 crore
JMC Projects (India) Limited, a Mumbai-based EPC company, bagged Rs. 507 crore order for its commercial business in South India.
The order includes civic engineering projects for the company's commercial as well as a residential business segment. With this order, the company's total order inflow in FY19 reaches Rs. 5,000 crore.
A robust order book with a good mix of residential, industrial and infrastructural building orders keep the company's management optimistic about delivering good performance in the upcoming quarters.
JMC Projects is a subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, is a contracting company which procures engineering projects related to plant building, commercial as well as residential building etc. It has also been the part of infrastructural projects such as constructing highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, townships, high-rise buildings, hospitals and power plants too.
Reacting positively to the news, the stock touched an intraday high of Rs. 92.60 per share. At 11:21 am stock showed uptick of 2.08 per cent to trade at per share price of Rs. 90.95 on BSE. The benchmark index Sensex traded at 36,410.22, lower marginally by 34 points.
