ITC to raise market share in fruit juice segment
Eyeing a bigger market share in the packaged fruit and juice segment, ITC has launched three new variants under its product ‘B Natural’, which is into fruit beverages.
The company is also planning to raise its advertising budget for B Natural by around 60 per cent and expects the revenue from this segment to increase by 30-40 per cent.
Last year, the brand had made a paradigm shift in the way their fruit juices and beverages are manufactured. The company has started manufacturing juices with the fruits directly sourced from the farmers. The range will be available across major Modern Trade and General Trade stores across the country.
ITC has business interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agri-business, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
On Monday, the stock has opened at Rs. 304 per share and made an intraday low of Rs. 301.65 on the BSE.
