Intellect Design Arena spikes up on back of recognition

The stock of Intellect Design Arena was buzzing on the bourses as the company proved its mettle by winning an award for its innovative big data solutions.

In a choppy trading session on Tuesday, Intellect Design was leading the list of top gainer on BSE. At 14:58, the stock of Intellect was trading at Rs. 183.15 per share, up by 3.59 per cent on Tuesday, when the market was at 34,914.63, down by 97.26 points, down 0.28 per cent.

The company's insurance software Intellect SEEC was awarded with the esteemed Silver Stevie Award under New Product of the Year – Big Data Solution category. The software is a machine learning and risk management platform tailored for commercial insurance. It is an advanced underwriting risk

assessment tool that employs artificial intelligence to big data sources.

In Q4FY18, the company registered 13.3 per cent QoQ growth in revenue at Rs 3,070 million as against Rs 2,710 million in Q3FY17. Net profit for the quarter more than doubled to Rs. 274 million as against Rs. 135 million in Q3FY17.
