Insecticides India Q4FY18 profit increases marginally
Insecticides (India) Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2018. The company’s standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 168.94 crore, registering 5.2 per cent yoy decline.
EBITDA for the quarter rose by 55.2 per cent yoy to Rs. 18.65 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 430 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 11 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 7.69 crore, yoy increase of 4.9 per cent.
Looking at the full year numbers, we see that revenue jumped by 3 per cent to reach Rs. 1,106.39 crore while EBITDA rose by 33 per cent to 147.82 crore. Company reported net profit of Rs. 83.97 crore, up 41 per cent yoy.
The company's board of directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share of the face value of Rs. 10 each.
Insecticides (India) Ltd. is engaged in the manufacturing activities of agro chemicals, pesticides and technical products for agriculture purposes.
On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 774 per share and touched an intraday high and low of Rs. 800.95 and Rs. 762.10, respectively, on the BSE. At 14:41, the stock was trading around Rs. 766.60 on the BSE.
