Inox Wind to develop wind power project for Adani
The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Adani Green Energy for developing 501.6 megawatt wind power project.
Inox Wind is being roped in to supply, install and commission 152 wind turbines of 3.3 MW in Kutch district, Gujarat. These wind turbine generators will have 145 meter rotor diameter erect at a 100 to 120 meter height. The project is to be executed in the next 15 month period.
Adani Green Energy, a Adani Group company, is an major Independent Power Producer (IPP) in India and this order further strengthens the partnership between the two companies in the renewable energy space.
Inox Wind is a fully integrated wind energy solutions company catering to the IPPs, PSUs and Utilities. The company has three manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
On Wednesday, the stock of Inox Wind was quoting Rs. 72.15 per share, up by 0.98 per cent, at 10:37 hours. The stock opened at Rs. 72.20 per share and hit an intraday high of Rs. 74.50 and a low of Rs. 71.60 per share on BSE.
