Inox Wind gains on commencement of power evacuation facility

INOX Wind informed the bourses that it has commissioned the common power evacuation facilities at Dayapar site in Bhuj, Gujarat on Monday. Reacting to this development, the stock gained 3 per cent.

The common power evacuation systems for the wind park include a 220 KV Sub-station, a 220 KV Double Circuit Transmission line and associated infrastructure. This common infrastructure is capable of supporting power evacuation of over 600 MW. This will empower commissioning of projects won under various SECI auctions with state of the art 2 MW & 3.3 MW wind turbines.

At 10:17 hours, INOX Wind was trading at Rs. 71.65 per share, up by 1.30 points or 1.85 per cent from its previous closing of Rs. 70.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 71.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.60 and Rs. 70.60, respectively. The stock had hit 52-week high of Rs. 113.00 on September 12, 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs. 55.00 on May 16, 2019.

INOX Wind is a provider of wind power solutions including wind resource assessment, acquiring land, developing the entire site infrastructure, building the power evacuation system, supplying the WTGs, erection and commissioning services, long-term operations and maintenance services as well as post-commissioning support.
