Inox Leisure Q1FY19 profit up 15 per cent
Inox Leisure reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2018. The consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 414.94 crore, registering 7.1 per cent yoy increase.
The company's revenue from Food & Beverages and Advertisement grew by 26.3 per cent yoy and 20 per cent yoy, respectively. While box office revenue increased marginally by 1.1 per cent yoy.
EBITDA for the quarter rose by 10.9 per cent yoy to Rs. 83.5 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 70 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 20.1 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 36.99 crore, yoy increase of 15.3 per cent.
During Q1FY19, the company has opened 12 new screens taking total screen count to 512 in total 64 cities. The company is targeting a screen count of 551 by the end of FY19. The company accounts for 19 per cent share of the multiplex screens in India and ~11 per cent share of domestic box office collections.
On Tuesday, the stock opened at Rs. 202 per share and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 214.70 and Rs. 195.10, respectively, on the BSE.
