Infy acquires stake in mortgage service provider Stater N.V.

The software major has completed the acquisition of 75 per cent stake in ABN AMRO subsidiary in the Netherlands. The partnership will strengthen Infosys' business process management solutions in the mortgage services value chain in Europe.

The strategic partnership deal involves getting access to Stater's advance capabilities in the digital origination, collection and servicing. The deal expand Infosys' international reach and adds to its AI, automation and digital transformation capabilities.

Stater has expertise in European mortgage administration services and operates an efficient digital platform that drives customer experience. The company services 1.7 million mortgage and insurance loans for around 50 clients in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Earlier, Infosys had announced that Global Treasure Bank (GTB), Myanmar had successful implementation of the company's Finacle Core Banking solution. Infosys Finacle suite is a leading digital banking solution that is deployed in banks in over 100 countries to service more than a billion consumers globally.

On Friday, at 10:17 hours, the stock of Infosys Limited was trading at Rs. 703.25 per share, up by Rs. 2.00 or 0.29 per cent on BSE.
