Infosys ties up with Microsoft for digital transformation
For digital transformation and innovation of smart buildings and space, Infosys collaborates with Microsoft. This collaboration aims to improve the lifecycle of building construction and operations, along with the user experience of managing and working in these buildings.
Infosys provides digital services and consulting. To deliver smart buildings and spaces (SB&S) solutions, Microsoft will provide technical support using Microsoft Azure services along with IoT, intelligent cloud and edge technologies. Infosys’s propriety Sustainable-Connected-Affordable-Livable-Experimental (SCALE) framework will be and addition to the improve efficiency. Together they will try to improve the architectural design, engineering, construction, facilities management and real estate development markets. This solution helps to reduce human cost by substituting it with Artificial Intelligence.
The two companies have announced to open Innovation Lab in Redmond to focus on developing and co-creating solutions for SB&S. They will benefit from each others cross-industry experiences.
The stock of Infosys closed at Rs. 737.95 per share, up by Rs. 3.25 or 0.44 per cent on Thursday.
