Infosys jumps more than 4 per cent after partnering with Lanxess
Infosys Limited announced that the company has entered into a strategic long-term partnership with Lanxess, a leading speciality chemicals company, headquartered in Germany. Reacting to this news, the stock of Infosys Ltd jumped 4.31 per cent at 3.30 pm on Monday.
Infosys will support Lanxess in its IT infrastructure digitisation strategy as well as enable its global workforce, which is spread across 33 countries, with a secure and fully-managed modern workplace.
As a part of this transformation, Infosys will set up an end-user centric modern workplace with a globally standardised device/workplace landscape (for office, functional and virtual users) based on a device as a service (DaaS) construct, backed with NextGen unified communication and collaboration platforms.
The global workforce of Lanxess will be supported by a multi-lingual artificial intelligence-powered service desk operating from Europe and India. Infosys will also transform Lanxess to a future-ready end-user IT landscape over the course of the partnership. This will ensure a seamless and harmonised workplace experience for Lanxess’ global workforce.
The stock closed at 933.55 , up by 3.27 per cent or Rs 29.55 per share. The intraday high is Rs 945 and intraday low is Rs 904 .
