Infosys forge digital transformation partnership with Old National Bank
Old National Bancorp, the largest financial services bank holding company headquartered in Indiana, announced a strategic partnership with Infosys.
Infosys will provide digital solutions to help transform Old National Bank’s technology landscape. The technology enhancement will provide advanced automation capabilities to increase speed to market and deliver a consistent and superior experience. This will help Old National Bank to accelerate growth in commercial banking and deepen relationships by offering a distinctive client-centric value proposition. The partnership will further streamline Old National Bank’s operating model and also simplify client-facing and internal processes.
The announcement further added that Infosys has committed to hiring American workers in Indiana to deliver digital futures for Infosys’ clients in the United States. Infosys has partnered with Purdue University and other academic partnerships in Indiana to create a local talent pool.
In the fiscal year 2020, Infosys recruited 6,932 employees locally in their respective markets, of which, 2,035 were fresh graduates. This workforce brings in a greater diversity of skills and experience. This initiative also significantly de-risks the company’s operations from regulatory changes related to immigration policies.
North America contributes 61.5 per cent of the revenue of Infosys as of FY20. Infosys has a significant presence in the continent and such strong partnerships are only a testament of that. As per the business segments of clients are concerned, financial services are the biggest client base of Infosys, contributing around 31.5 per cent of the company’s total revenue.
Infosys stock opened at 790, up by 1.04 per cent or Rs 8.2 per share from its previous day's close.
