Infosys announce partnership with worlds largest salt producer
Infosys, a global leader in next generation digital services and consulting, today announced a strategic long-term partnership with K+S AG, the world’s largest salt manufacturer and Europe’s biggest supplier of Potash, to support its ‘Shaping 2030 Strategy’ - by preparing an agile and flexible IT infrastructure foundation to enable their digital roadmap.
As part of this partnership, Infosys will help K+S become more sustainable by navigating them to a next generation hybrid cloud data centre.
Infosys will set up two centralised and dedicated data centres in Kassel (Germany) and 16 regional data centres in Europe, USA, Canada, and South America along with a public cloud ecosystem.
Infosys will deliver critical infrastructure services in a hybrid cloud and manage these centres end-to-end. This will ensure seamless operations, value and consistency in the quality of services delivered across various locations worldwide. Infosys will also be responsible for managing the IT landscape of K+S across 100+sites for over 9,000 end users, across 25+ countries globally.
The stock of the company closed at 746.30, up by 0.26 per cent or Rs 1.95 per share. The intraday high is Rs 758.15 and intraday low is Rs 741.65. The 52-week high is Rs 847.40 and 52-week low is Rs 615 on BSE.
