Ineos Styrolution reports stable Q4FY18 numbers

Ineos Styrolution reported strong quarterly performance across the board. The specialties business revenue also witnessed traction. 


The total revenue for the quarter rose by 13.6 per cent YoY to Rs.511 crore in Q4FY18 as against Rs 449 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. This was largely aided by 13.4 per cent YoY increase in specialties business revenue and 20 per cent YoY increase in polysterene business in Q4FY18. 


The EBITDA for the quarter also rose by 15.7 per cent YoY with 20 bps margin expansion over the same period previous year. The EBITDA for Q4FY18 stood at Rs 56 crore in Q4FY18 as compared with Rs.48 crore in Q4FY17 and Rs 32 crore in Q3FY18. The margins edged up marginally  to 11 per cent in Q4FY18 vs 10.8 per cent in Q4FY17 


The bottomline for the quarter also rose by  8.5 per cent YoY to  Rs 32 crore in Q4FY18 vs Rs 30 crore in Q4FY17. 


The full-year revenue grew by 16.8 per cent YoY, while EBITDA margin and bottomline declined in FY18. 


The stock is currently trading 3 per cent up at Rs.867 per share.
