Indo Count Industries posts subdued Q3FY18 numbers
Indo Count Industries reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2017 on Wednesday. The company's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 460.03 crore, registering 8.5 per cent yoy decline.
EBITDA for the quarter fell by 32 per cent yoy to Rs. 69.3 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 520 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 15.1 per cent. The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 36.41 crore, yoy decline of 35.2 per cent.
The company's board of directors have declared Interim Dividend of Re. 0.40 per equity share (20 per cent) of face value of Rs. 2 each for the FY17-18.
Indo Count Industries is engaged in the activity of manufacture of textile products. The company is involved in the manufacture of bedding, quilts, pillows, sleeping bags and others, and preparation and spinning of cotton fibers, including blended cotton.
On Wednesday, the stock opened at Rs. 106.95 per share and touched an intra-day high and low of Rs. 108.60 and Rs. 105, respectively and finally closed at Rs. 106.55, on the BSE.
