Indias largest Mutual Fund platform – BSE Star MF registers record transactions and SIPs in June!

BSE StAR is a mutual fund distribution platform of BSE. In May BSE StAR touched its all-time high number of transactions of 1.14 crore. 

June month saw Frontline Indices and broader market indices hit all-time highs for it selves. While BSE Sensex made all-time highs investors were quietly participating in the markets via mutual funds. BSE Star MF, India’s largest mutual platform announced that in June, it registered a record 1.29 cr transactions worth Rs 36,232 cr. 

BSE StAR is a mutual fund distribution platform of BSE. In May BSE StAR touched its all-time high number of transactions of 1.14 crore. According to BSE the channel partners and distributors preferred to invest through online platforms with advent of the pandemic.  BSE StAR achieved 3.54 crore transactions in April, May and June – first three months of the current financial year. In the entire 2020-21 FY BSE StAR saw 9.38 crore transactions. 

Along with the record number of transactions, the BSE StAR MF platform registered 7.83 lakh new systematic investment plans (SIPs) amounting to 186 crore in June 2021. 

As of now the StAR MF’ s current SIP book size is 98.80 lakh. The objective behind launching the BSE StAR MF app was to help the distributors and independent financial advisors to register clients on a real-time basis.
