Indian Hume Pipe receives LoA for Rs. 502 crore
The Company has received a LoA from the drinking water corporation of Andhra Pradesh government. The work involves construction of water supply projects in Guntur District.
The Andhra Pradesh Drinking Water Supply Corporation (APDWSC) has issued a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a Rs.502.89 crore project. The cost exclude GST. The order involves the work of construction of drinking water supplies withing 2 years time frame in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh.
Indian Hume Pipe has over 20 factories and more than 100 active projects under execution in India. The company operates in water supply, drainage/sewage, power and manufacturing sector. Its products include pipes, concrete sleepers and sport rifles
On Friday, the stock of Indian Hume Pipe opened at Rs. 350.00 per share, and hit a high of Rs. 368.35 in early morning trade. At 10:03 hours, the stock was quoting Rs. 355.55 per share, up by Rs. 14.75 or 4.33 per cent.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index BSE Sensex was at 36,158.20, down by 273.47 or 0.75 per cent. The Nifty50 was at 10,865.65, down by 86.05 or 0.79 per cent. The advance-decline ratio was in the favour of the bulls with only 6 stock advancing and 43 stocks declining and one unchanged on Friday's morning session.
