Indian Hotels inks deal with R&R Hotels
Indian Hotels Company has signed pact with R&R Hotels and Resorts to open a new Vivanta hotel in Kathmandu in Nepal. This will be the company's second hotel in Nepal after Meghauli Serai in Chitwan National Park in Nepal.
Kathmandu is an extremely popular destination and this hotel will help the company to complete a tourist circuit with Meghauli Serai, its Taj Safari Lodge in Chitwan National Park.
Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, mid-market and value segments of the market. The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.09 per cent, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.49 and 20.41 per cent, respectively.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 129.80 and Rs. 123.10 per share, respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15,359.27 crore.
On Friday’s trade the stock has opened at Rs.129.80 per share and touched a high/low of Rs.129.80/Rs.127.50 respectively and on 10:55 am the stock was quoting at Rs. 129.10 per share, up by 0.35 per cent.
