Index trend and stocks in action November 13, 2018
The NSE benchmark witnessed a positive opening above the 10,600 mark and notched up good gains during the initial hour of trading. But as the trading progressed it turned choppy, and in the second half of trading session, bears took charge and pulled the index below the 10,500 mark. The price action formed a sizeable bear candle almost engulfing the prices of previous five trading sessions. Going ahead, there is a high probability of the weakness persisting in the index. Immediate support for the index is placed in the region of 10,442-10,458 which is the gap area formed on November 2. Failing to hold this support will lead to further correction which may take index towards the levels of 10,340 and 10,300. On the upside, resistance is placed around the level of 10,530 followed by the major hurdle in the region of 10,620-10,650.
