Index trend and stocks in action May 25, 2018
NSE benchmark Nifty opened the session on a positive note and witnessed some ups and downs in the initial hours of trading. But, thereafter, there was no looking back and Nifty reclaimed the 10,500-mark. The price action of the day formed a bullish candle with a long wick, indicating buying at lower levels. Going ahead, a follow-through move above the 100-day SMA, which is placed in the region of 10,538, could lead the index up to the levels of 10,580-10,600. On the downside, the last two sessions' almost identical low of 10,417 would act as an important support level, and if Nifty holds above this level, it would keep the positive options open.
