The board recommended splitting or subdividing the company's shares, subject to the thirty-seventh annual general meeting's approval from a face value of Rs 10 to the face value of Rs 2. The record date for the share division will be announced as soon as possible. For one equity share with a face value of Rs 10, the split/sub-division ratio is five equity shares with a face value of Rs 2 each.
The company's business activities include the creation & distribution of cinematography films, advertising films, television films, video films, cartoon films, 3D films, and animation films along with the provision of all types of services related to the production of animation films and all other movies, picture films, and toys, as well as the acquisition, sale & operation of the advertising business in all its branches.
Additionally, the company engages in the syndication, publication, marketing, printing & distribution of multimedia, 3D characters, artwork, cartoons, caricatures, comics, stickers, greeting cards, and other specialised or general publishing or printing activities.
Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, the company currently successfully distributes its content on Facebook, ShareChat, YouTube, etc. Collaboration between Vega Music Pvt Ltd and Amazon Prime Videos is also on the cards! The company, which goes by the names TVNXT and Vega Music on YouTube, currently has more than one crore subscribers.
