Hi-Tech Pipes set to start production of ERW pipe manufacturing facility in Khopoli
Hi-Tech pipes announced on Tuesday that the ERW pipe manufacturing facility has commenced its commercial production in Khopoli (Maharashtra), which is the new state of-the-art manufacturing facility.
This commencement of production is taking place through its wholly-owned subsidiary, HTL Ispat Private Limited. With this development, Hi-Tech Pipes takes a step forward to expand and deepen its reach. It will also help to manufacture higher-margin products, target newer markets, and improve the product portfolio. The commercialisation of this new facility will give a 5,80,000 MTPA boost to the total installed capacity of the company.
The product will cater to the product range of MS pipes, CR tubes and pre-galvanised tubes. They are mainly used in constructing bridges railing, poles/posts, electric conduit, cooling towers, automobile, telecom towers/ poles, roofing, fabrication, etc. Meanwhile, this plant will lead the company towards achieving its vision of enhancing the overall installed capacity of the company to 1 million MTPA.
Hi-Tech Pipes Ltd poses to be the largest company in the segment with a wide range of products, instrumental in laying a sound infrastructure for the development of the nation. It is an India-based company engaged in the business of manufacturing and supplying steel pipes, hollow sections, tubes, cold-rolled coils & strips, along with a range of other galvanised products. The company also offers cold-rolled (CR) coils tubes & pipes, and crash barriers.
The share of Hi-Tech Pipes closed at Rs 265.75, up by 0.51 per cent on Tuesday. It is quite close to its 52-week high of Rs 277 as on BSE.
