Hexaware shines on partnering with ICT Academy for corporate initiatives
Hexaware Technologies Limited announced that it has partnered with ICT Academy, a not-for-profit organisation, to train 500 final year students from rural colleges in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana, on technical and soft skills relevant for the IT Industry.
Hexaware’s Corporate University, HexaVarsity helped in designing the curriculum and content, train the faculty, and select a training platform. This partnership of Hexaware and ICT Academy will support the rural institutions in training students through a mix of online learning, live classes, and instructor-led sessions via a digital platform accessible to participants 24X7.
ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India, in collaboration with the state governments and industries, which aims to train teachers and students of higher education. It thereby helps in developing the next generation of teachers and industry-ready students. The academy is endorsed by NITI Aayog and is aimed to meet the skill requirements of the industry and also generate more employment.
The stock closed at 405, up by 2.14 per cent or Rs 8.50 per share. The intraday high is Rs 408.55 and the intraday low is Rs 391.05. The 52-week high is 441.75, while its 52-week low is 201.70 on BSE.
