Hero MotoCorp expands its footsteps in Central America; appoints new distributors
Hero MotoCorp has lined up new launches including its range of premium motorcycles in both the countries and is also planning to expand its network with extensive customer touch-points and flagship stores in key markets. Hero MotoCorp has appointed Grupo Casa Pellas (107 years' experience), one of the biggest economic groups and the leading motorcycles, cars, and trucks companies in Nicaragua & Movesa SA (14 years' experience), one among the most important companies in Honduras as the distributor. Hero MotoCorp's product portfolio in Nicaragua and Honduras will include XPulse 200 and Hunk 160R (Xtreme 160R in India).
Hero MotoCorp is a two-wheeler manufacturer. The company’s business can be defined as manufacturing and selling motorised two-wheelers up to 350 cubic centimetres (cc) engine capacity, spare parts and related services. It has its manufacturing plants located at Dharuhera & Gurugram (Haryana), Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Neemrana (Rajasthan) and Villa Rica (Colombia). Meanwhile, its research & development (R&D) centre is located in Jaipur (Rajasthan).
Hero MotoCorp share was trading 0.75 per cent down at Rs 3,225.05 in the second half of the trading session on Wednesday as on BSE.
