Here are the stocks placed under ASM
In line with SEBI's intent to keep the Indian equity markets safe for investors and check undue volatility in stock prices, the market regulator has directed BSE and NSE to introduced additional surveillance measures (ASM).
According to the new guidelines, these stock will be placed in 5 per cent price band and 100 per cent margin will be applicable on these stocks. The exchanges will review these stocks on bimonthly basis for the applicability of ASM Framework. However, BSE has maintained that the shortlisting of stock under the framework is only on account of surveillance and it should not be considered as disciplinary action against the company.
