Heidelberg Cement completes debottlenecking of 2 plants
Heidelberg Cement has informed the bourses about the completion of debottlenecking of its two projects, one in Madhya Pradesh and the other in Uttar Pradesh.
Debottlenecking of the projects at Imlai (Madhya Pradesh) and Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) plants have been duly completed within the scheduled timelines.
The grinding capacity of these plants stood enhanced to 2.50 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and 3.25 MTPA, respectively. The aggregate cement grinding capacity of the company stands enhanced to 6.26 MTPA.
Heidelberg Cement India Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of Portland cement. The company sells its products under the brand name of Mycem.
The recently concluded quarter Q3FY20, show that the volumes have declined by nine per cent due to the marginal de-growth in central and southern region.
In today’s trading session, the stock of Heidelberg Cement has made an intraday high of Rs 145. The stock had hit 52-week high of Rs 217.80 and 52-week low of Rs 120 on BSE.
