HCL plans to launch GDC in Hartford, USA
HCL Technologies (HCL), one of the leading global technology companies, on Tuesday announced that it plans to open a Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Hartford. The center will offer digital transformation services to clients in the smart manufacturing, insurance, aerospace and defense industries.

The first anchor client for HCL’S Global Delivery Center will be Stanley Black & Decker, a NYSE-listed company, which is the world’s largest tool. It signed a global agreement with HCL.
HCL will bring advanced digital capabilities that can help transform Stanley Black & Decker’s global application and infrastructure environment as well as enhance the company’s ability to respond to emerging business needs going forward. As part of the deal, HCL will deploy 1,000 people globally for Stanley Black & Decker.
