GPT Infraprojects bags rail line orders worth Rs. 83.41 crore

GPT Infraprojects informed the bourses that it has received an order amounting to Rs. 83.41 crore.

The contract comprises construction of rail line in connection with the construction of Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant and other ancillary works in Bangladesh.

The contract is likely to be completed within 18 months. The company is currently having an order book of around Rs. 1,963.64 crore including the above-mentioned order.
 

GPT Infraprojects is the flagship company of GPT Group. It is a premier infrastructure company based out of Kolkata. The company makes inroads into the infrastructure segment in 2004 and is now an established railway focused player.

On Tuesday, cheering the news, the stock opened at Rs. 153.55 per share, jumped by 1.3 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs. 157.50.
