Godrej Jersey commence dairy products delivery amid lockdown
A leading private dairy in South India and a subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Limited-Creamline Dairy Products Limited (CDPL) announced that it is delivering essential items like dairy products under their ‘Jersey’ portfolio in housing societies amid nationwide lockdown.
Keeping in mind, the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the safety of people, CDPL is ensuring that people get necessary items without stepping out of their house. For this purpose, they have undertaken an initiative to provide uninterrupted home delivery services while ensuring consumer safety sanitisation in cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Vijaywada & Visakhapatnam. Orders are accepted via WhatsApp or through their official website and delivered at doorstep. Meanwhile, Godrej Jersey has also launched a store finder to locate Jersey outlets in many cities across South India.
Raj Kanwar Singh, CEO of CDPL said that the company is ensuring delivery of dairy products at this crucial hour as the protein found in milk boosts immunity level of an individual. Besides, he also added that the company has started a digital campaign on the social media accounts of Godrej Jersey to reduce consumer’s anxiety and make them aware of the daily availability of dairy products.
The stock market is closed today on the occasion of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti. On Monday, the stock of Godrej Agrovet Ltd was trading at Rs 363.00, down by 5.26 per cent against its previous close of Rs 383.15. Its 52-week high is Rs 597.95 while, its 52-week low is Rs 265.05 on BSE.
