GNFC reports robust Q2 numbers, revenue up by 10 per cent
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018. The standalone numbers were strong in almost all segments with strong operational performance.
GNFC's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 1,682.23 crore, registering 9.9 per cent yoy increase. This was primarily driven by volume growth in both, fertilizers as well as chemicals with YoY revenue growth of 15 per cent and 7 per cent, respectively. EBITDA for the quarter rose by 20.4 per cent yoy to Rs. 412.78 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 213 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 24.5 per cent.
Net profit after tax for the quarter came in at Rs. 296.33 crore as compared to Rs. 166.11 crore for the same period last year, showing yoy increase of 78.4 per cent.
