Generic Engineering secures orders worth Rs. 273.93 crore

Generic Engineering Construction & Projects has bagged multiple orders amounting to an impressive sum of Rs. 273.93 crore. The orders involve work pertaining to the construction of residential buildings in Mumbai and Kalyan, construction of security complex, as well as civil and finishing work for a residential building.

The company received one order of Rs. 215 crore, the single largest in the company’s history, from a renowned real estate developer. The project involves piling work and shell and core work over a built-up area of 8 lakh sq. ft.

Earlier, the company entered into a government contract with India’s leading Defence public sector undertaking, which was a first of its kind for the company.

On Monday, the shares of Generic Engineering opened at Rs. 185.35 per share, and hit a high of Rs. 194.40 per share. At 12:51 pm, the stock was trading at Rs. 189.00, up 1.97 per cent.
