Gayatri Projects bags orders worth Rs 403.96 crore
Gayatri Projects, India’s leading pure play EPC company, informed the bourses that it has received three orders amounting to Rs. 403.96 crore from the Bihar State Road Development Corporation.
These projects will be executed on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) basis in-line with the management's decision to follow an asset-light model. These order wins would further enhance the company’s position in the highway building segment.
At the end of Q1FY19, the company’s total order book stood at Rs. 12,900 crore with book-to-bill ratio of 5.2x. Also, the company has improved its D/E ratio from 2.5x in FY17 to 1.5x in FY18.
On Monday, the stock of Gayatri Projects opened at Rs. 171.50 per share and was trading lower by 4.62 per cent at 14:09 hours at Rs. 162.00, on the BSE.
