Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
Bulls dominated Dalal Street as frontline indices rallied in the morning session to hit fresh all-time highs on Friday, after upbeat GPD growth.
At noon, Sensex had climbed 996.13 points, or 1.37 per cent, to trade at 73,496.43, while Nifty was up 308.35 points, or 1.4 per cent, at 22,291.15.
Stocks to watch are Bharti Airtel, Vedanta, ICICI Lombard, Biocon, Aurobindo Pharma, Suven Pharma, TVS Motor, Chalet Hotels, CMS Info Systems, Kesoram Industries, MOIL and Pidilite Industries.
