Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Wednesday, the domestic benchmark indices opened on a positive note amid mixed global cues. At 11.27 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were seen trading in the green zone at 58,037.57 and 17,332.00 levels, climbing 0.08 per cent & 0.10 per cent, respectively.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Tech Mahindra, and ITC emerged as the top gainers of the day, which surged 3.40 per cent, 1.22 per cent & 0.98 per cent, respectively.
