Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Tuesday, the domestic benchmark indices opened on a flat note amid mixed global cues. At 10.36 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were seen trading in the red zone at 57,018.83 and 17,037.45 levels, plunging 0.48 per cent & 0.47 per cent, respectively.
Reliance, Power Grid, and Tata Steel emerged as the top gainers of the day, which climbed 1.81 per cent, 1.15 per cent & 0.77 per cent, respectively.
