Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Monday, the domestic benchmark indices plunged in the opening trade. Even at 11.09 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the negative territory i.e. at 55,611.13 and 16,576.55 levels, plummeting 0.44 per cent & 0.49 per cent, respectively.
Tata Steel, Power Grid, and NTPC emerged as the top gainers, which surged 4.30 per cent, 2.41 per cent & 1.23 per cent, respectively.
