Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the second trading session of the week on a positive note. At 10.48 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the green zone i.e. at 56,589.36 and 16,933.25 levels, climbing 0.33 per cent & 0.54 per cent, respectively.
The top three gainers of the day included Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, and Infosys, which advanced by 1.98 per cent, 1.63 per cent & 1.57 per cent, respectively.
