Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened Wednesday's session on a weak note. At 11.16 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the negative territory at 60,236.49 and 17,975.90 levels, down by 0.85 per cent & 0.76 per cent, respectively.
Tata Steel, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, and HDFC Bank emerged as the top three gainers of today's session, rising by 0.81 per cent, 0.24 per cent & 0.05 per cent, respectively.
