Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened Thursday's trading session on a flat note amid mixed global cues. At 11.58 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the green zone at 61,226.21 and 18,243.75 levels, inching higher by 0.12 per cent & 0.17 per cent, respectively.
The top three gainers of today's session include Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, and Power Grid, which soared 4.86 per cent, 3.78 per cent & 1.98 per cent, respectively.
