Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened on a negative note on the fourth trading session of the week. However, at 11.38 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the green zone, trading at 57,852.48 & 17,223.95 levels, up by 0.08 per cent and 0.06 per cent, respectively.
NTPC, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 1.83 per cent, 1.65 per cent & 1.51 per cent, respectively.
