Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the second trading session of the week, the domestic benchmark indices opened in the green zone. At 11.39 am, Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the positive territory, up by 0.79 per cent each, trading at 57,873.87 & 17,222.00 levels, respectively.
Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, and Larsen & Toubro emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 2.48 per cent, 1.93 per cent & 1.86 per cent, respectively.
