Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened Thursday's trading session on a positive note. At 12.37 pm, both Sensex and Nifty were trading in the green zone at 57,365.77 and 17,088.85 levels, up by 0.76 per cent & 0.79 per cent, respectively.
The top three gainers of today's session included ITC, Power Grid Corporation, and Bajaj Finance, which surged 2.71 per cent, 2.51 per cent & 2.27 per cent, respectively.
