Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the positive territory on the first trading session of the week. Even at 11.55 am, both were spotted in the green zone. While Sensex inched higher by 0.16 per cent at 58,879.86 levels, Nifty advanced 0.17 per cent to be at 17,540.60 levels.
Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Power Grid Corporation emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 3.19 per cent, 2.92 per cent & 2.00 per cent, respectively.
