Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the red on the last trading session of the week. Even at 11.39 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were seen trading in the negative territory i.e. down by 0.38 per cent & 0.33 per cent at 58,581.12 and 17,458.80 levels, respectively.
Asian Paints, M&M, and Sun Pharma emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 3.03 per cent, 1.40 per cent & 1.30 per cent, respectively.
