Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened Monday's session on a weak note. At 11.39 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the red zone, down by 0.73 per cent & 0.68 per cent at 57,274.63 and 17,080.05 levels, respectively.
HDFC, ICICI Bank, and Tata Steel emerged as the top three gainers today, which inched higher 0.77 per cent, 0.75 per cent & 0.59 per cent, respectively.
